Al-Hazem FC is a Saudi football club based in Ar Rass, in the Qassim region, founded in 1957. Twice first division champions, they share their town and their ground with Al-Kholood, which gives Qassim a second derby.

A history built on promotions
Al-Hazem worked their way up division by division. They won the third division in 1997-98, finished second in the second division in 1999-2000, then took the first division title in 2004-05, which sent them into the top flight.
They stayed there for six consecutive seasons before relegation. The club were first division champions again in 2020-21, and won the play-offs at that level in 2024-25.
The club that keeps coming back
That movement between levels defines the club more than any trophy does. They have never won a domestic cup, but they are among the Saudi sides that most regularly return to the top flight after dropping out of it.
Their nickname, which speaks of determination and resilience, matches that trajectory closely.
Two clubs for one provincial town
Ar Rass is a town in Qassim, west of Buraidah, and it has the unusual distinction of holding two Saudi Pro League clubs, Al-Hazem and Al-Kholood, who use the same eight thousand seat ground.
The region as a whole therefore fields four sides in the league, counting Al-Taawoun and Al-Raed in Buraidah, unusual weight for an area far from the country’s major centres.
