Al-Fayha FC is a Saudi football club based in Al-Majma’ah, north of Riyadh, founded in 1953. King’s Cup winners in 2021-22 at the expense of Al-Hilal, they produced one of the great recent upsets in Saudi football.

The 2022 King’s Cup, a small club’s upset
In 2021-22, Al-Fayha won the King’s Cup by beating Al-Hilal, the most decorated club in the country. For a provincial side playing in front of seven thousand people, it stands as one of the most discussed results in the recent history of the competition.
The trophy took them into the Saudi Super Cup, where they finished runners-up in 2022.
An Asian campaign in 2023-24
The cup win led the club into the AFC Champions League for the 2023-24 edition, their only appearance to date. Al-Fayha finished second in their group on nine points before going out to Al-Nassr by an aggregate score of three-nil.
That campaign remains the reference point of their continental history.
A club built stage by stage
The club climbed the divisions in steps. They won the second division in 1984-85 and again in 2013-14, before taking the first division title in 2016-17, which established them in the top flight.
Al-Majma’ah lies in the Sudair region, known for its mills, which gives the club its second nickname. Their seven thousand seat ground is among the smallest in the Saudi Pro League.
